Gandalf Talks about “The Hobbit”
Movie Trailers - Movies BlogSir Ian McKellan recently told MTV News that he has read the script for “The Hobbit ” and is happy with it. During an interview promoting the upcoming mini-series “The Prisoner “, the actor who brings Gandalf to life revealed that the script, written by Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, and Philippa Boyens, draws on other Tolkein sources, as well as The Hobbit.
According to McKellan, the script will satisfy both “Lord of the Rings” fans, and those who haven’t seen them. The films are to be directed by Guillermo del Toro and are currently slated to be released in December 2011.
